Exceptional and rare Yohji Yamamoto Tweed Jacket from one of his earliest collections presented in Paris in the early 1980’s. Cut as an oversized mens jacket but detailed through a Japanese lens. Extended shoulders cut wide with no pads taper to the hip. The lapels are cut to protrude and jut forward at double breasted closure. The double vented back is cut higher and tapers down in the front. Exaggerated thick herringbone tweed textile is also subtly subversive. Jacket can be worn by men as well and looks amazing. Label was removed in the period.
