Contemporary Design
It has existed since 1956 in a monochrome version which today Bruno Schiepan has decided to transform.
Bruno Schiepan considers Saarinen’s chairs and armchairs both as a sculpture and an ideal support/surface for his painting.
The “Tulip” armchair thus becomes a work that fuses sculpture, painting, design and art.
Each piece is unique, painted by hand, with a brush, making the “Tulip” a new flower…
For this special series imagined in homage to Piet Mondrian, the aim is to bring together the organic plasticity of the forms created by Saarinen and the rigor of Mondrian’s signature lines and colors.
To respect the evolution of Mondrian’s work, 3 different interpretations were produced affirming a more or less strong presence of color.
Each piece is made to order according to the choice of style from the series chosen.
Bruno Schiepan only works on original and new models, as evidenced by the certificate of authenticity issued by the publisher.
