Vintage Design
Gispen 5600 sideboard with a red flap cabinet and a yellow-green drawer, designed by A.R. Cordemeyer for Gispen in 1959. A very modern and industrial piece of furniture for its time that can be used as, sideboard, TV cabinet, stereo cabinet, storage cabinet, etc. The first version was called model 663 and was designed by Wim Rietveld in 1954. Andre Cordemeyer improved the 663 to the 5600 system in 1959. Given its age, this Gispen furniture is still in original and very good condition with normal signs of use and wear (see photos). This cabinet has a storage cabinet with flap and glass shelf, a drawer, two covers and several shelves. Dimensions: h x w x d = 67 x 146.5 x 36 cm. Marked: Gispen (see photo).
