Coffee table from the 50s by Vittorio Dassi and Santambrogio and De Berti italia. Product in Bune conditions with wear caused by years of use. Please visioare and immqagini attached carefully. The furniture by Vittorio Dassi (1893-1973), made in the ’40s and ’50s, stands out for the choice of precious woods such as rosewood, cherry, ash and walnut, often decorated with inlaid panels and crystals signed by great master glassmakers. Elegant in design without losing the functional quality, its furnishings can be combined with the refined style of Gio Ponti, to whom Vittorio was linked by important collaborations after taking over from his father in the company Dassi Mobili Moderni in Lissone. Among the most important projects of the factory there is in fact the realization of the furniture of the rooms of the Royal Hotel in Naples, designed by Ponti in the mid-1950s, a period that marks the turning point of Dassi toward more schematic shapes and teak wood for the production of modular furniture.
