Old desk with spindle legs and its high Napoleon-inspired window.
We love its unique look, the very simple shape of the desk with its two drawers which contrasts with the more designed and present top (removable, the top is inserted using a tab into the desk top).
Very practical model, with its numerous storage spaces – drawers, shelves and sorters, this desk will dress up any type of space with its beautiful presence.
Completely restored, the desk which was too low was raised by my cabinetmaker to give it an ideal height. This piece was sanded, treated, then painted black, the inside of the drawers and the inside of the display case were stained to keep the wood and varnish visible.
A functional lock with a key at the display window, a key (usable for the two high drawers) with functional us locks and two handle knobs for the low drawers.
This piece of furniture is old, and there may obviously be a patina and defects in the wood.
