Marango Bedside Tables by Alberto Smania for Smania Studio Interni, 1960s, Set of 2

Superb pair of bedside tables belonging to the prestigious Marango series designed by Alberto Smania for the company of the same name Smania Studio Interni in the late 1960s.
The bedside tables contain and embody the high Italian mastery and craftsmanship of the time with amazing details on the corners in leather weaving, with brass profiles and Italian cane.
They feature 2 glass shelves with brass edges.
The conditions are excellent, even though they are now almost 60 years old.
We would like to point out a minimal and imperceptible chip in the glass in one corner of the glass of both bedside tables.
We would also like to point out that a lower corner of one of the two bedside tables has some signs of aging.
