Vintage Design
A very large late early 20th century Italian trestle wood table, with a rectangular framed board top, resting on two hand carved, classical lyre legs joined by their beautifully carved pair of wood stretchers. This unique table from Northern Italy was designed for a grand room in a country side farm-villa and seats 10-12 very comfortably. Suitable as a dining table or conference table. The green and yellow bi-coloring, with the simplicity and elegance of the curvy legs design is nicely contrasted by the distressed country-chic condition, giving it a great sense and feeling of time and warmth.
