French Art Nouveau bench, sofa by Louis Majorelle, 1900-1910 A beautiful sofa with a highly polished wooden frame, covered with satin fabric with an Art Nouveau pattern. Beautifully elegant, stylish piece of furniture Louis-Jean-Sylvestre Majorelle (1859-1926) was a French furniture designer. He worked in the style of Art Nouveau and was co-founder of the École de Nancy Majorelle furniture with botanical motifs or other stylistic themes in Art Nouveau. Majorelle style included a flowing line with polished wood. The measurement is 90 cm high, 130 cm wide and the depth is 60 cm. The seat height is 50 cm. The weight is 20 kilos.
