Vintage Design
This cupboard was manufactured in Sweden during the 1940s. It is finished in walnut burl wood. A burl (or burr) is a tree growth in which the grain has grown in a deformed manner. It is commonly found in the form of a rounded outgrowth on a tree trunk or branch that is filled with small knots from dormant buds. Burls yield a very peculiar and highly figured wood, prized for its beauty and rarity. This buffet has a drawers, close lockers, shelves, and vitrine in the centre part by milk glass with geometric pattern. The piece has original brass handles and brass feet.
